Last clase we continuded our preantation. I learned a lot adout diferent issues the world is facing. I leaned about how the UN and other oranization are trying to stop this issues.I never knew there was a thing as internaltional law and was were keen on knowing more. I found interesting was that there is such a thing as biotrverestiy. I aslo was shcokked at how the numbers of kids that are educated is still a lot. I was confussed why the UN keep  trying the same thingsd over and over again and it keeps on failing.

I think that we should of done more to our project for example add more clips and maybe have found out more on our topic. I also think that we should of all work 9n it togther because bryan was mosty making  haniff and I find pictures or work on the script .

I had to comment on the the statement ” the whole is only has strong as the sum of its parts” . It make perfect sense to the UN because the UN only works when all the committees work together to solve world issues. If they don’t have this committees then they will not have all the points of view like if there was only the general assembly the UN might the information to what happens to the others in the world. I think that statement truly makes sense to the UN.

I enjoyed the class today. It was a lot of fun and at the same time very educational. It was very fun to listen to the speeches. I enoyed shalah and ankitah the most they added a lot of enthuseaddum it was like they were the person. I also liked bryan speech because he made himself sound so importent and he acted like he was the greatest king og Egypt. I think that I can improve on my speech and not make it so boring. If I had the changes to do this again I would but more effert in my speech and my acting skills.

Queen Nefertari

Hello, my name is Nefertari. I am the first wife of Ramses II. I was his favorite wife. Usually a pharaoh’s first wife was also his sister, but I was not his sister or closely related in any way. I was a very important person at that time.

I was born in Thebes to a noble family. I married Ramses at the age of 13. I was chosen to be his wife because I was from the south and he needed a stronger political tie to this part of Egypt. Even though he married me for political reasons, he loved me a lot.

My life as a queen was great! I had five children, but none became the heir of the throne. One of my daughters did become my husband’s wife after my death. I became the chief wife, therefore I was a huge political figure. When I was seen in public, I was always with my husband. In all, I was a very successful queen.

In the year 21 of Ramses II’s reign, I disappeared from the history books. I was around forty years old at this time. No one knows why I died at this age or what I died of. I am famous today because there was a great tomb built for me in the Valley of the Queens as well as a temple in my honor.

I was the only queen honored by my husband in this way. None of his other wives had a grand temple built in her honor. My impact was so strong on my husband because he truly loved me. This is the story of how a 13-year-old girl married a pharaoh and became a great queen.

What new information has emerged?

The storm that knockout electricity supplies to half a million people. Has hit the north-east has now become an ice storm. The storm hit Maine and even Canda. Many school,businesses ,and day-care centres are closed due to the storm. 42 people have die most from weather-related accidents. The storm has hit all the way from New Mexico to Maine and Canda.

What did I find interesting about this topic?
I found interesting was that a storm could hit so much land. I also find interesting was that the effects were so great. I also wonder why there was such a big storm in the frist place.

If they don’t they will stop getting aid from the US. Cheney’s visit coincided with one visit by Margaret Beckett, Britain’s foreign secretary.

Vice President Dick Cheney is involved because he is pressing Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf to help stop the Taliban. The Taliban are involed because they are being tracked down. The people of Pakistan are involved because if they don’t work harder then they will not get U.S. aid.

What would you do if you were directly involved?

If I were directly involved I would work harder so the people can get the aid they need. I would also make the US help them so the job will be done faster. And if I were a part of the Pakistani government,I would put up guards everwhere so the camps will not open again.

What did I learn from this task?

I learned about  ancient Ghana. I also learned about how to use wikispaces more. And I learned about how to use key words  in Google. I also learned how to evaluate website.

What did I find difficult or easy and why?

I found difficult was finding information because there are not a lot of website or books that talk about ancient Ghana that I could find. I also found hard was writing the information because I am not a good writer. I found easy was designing the wikispaces because I like t5hat type of stuff.

If I could to this this again what would I change?

I would try to get more information and  not fool around. I would also try to make our page look nicer.

What would you change about the final product (the wiki you created) if you were to do the assignment again?

If I could do the wiki again I would do the researching part again because t little information. I also would like to do better is to check the speling  of my wiki. I would also try to add more information that tells about the subject. I think that my group could have done better isn amking sure everyone was doing there homework and their part.

1. How are the two event connected?

The two article are connected because both are about ways to stop the violence in Iraq  in Josiah’a article the Sunni president wanted to have more U.S troops. However in this article the the senior military officer have told president Bush and Defense Secretary Robert M that this plan will fail unless the civilian angunes, like the state depart and foreign servicemembers go to Iraq to  help with the reconstruction and political development.

2.What did I find interesting about this topic?

What I found interesting was the two different groups have different ways of looking at this problem. This is caused by their different backrouned. The Sunni vice-president are sared that that the other muslim group the Shiltes will take over when the U.S leave and the military officer think that Americans have to go and take job to make iraq safer and better. I think it is stange that even though there are many troops in Iraq that they want more.
